The Electoral Commission says it needs K80million to run the Local Level Government elections.
Fifty million kina has been allocated but it’s yet to be released to the Commission.
This position was outlined to the Minister responsible and Deputy Prime Minister Leo Dion .
Mr. Dion met with Electoral Commission officials on election dates as well as boundaries.
Another concern is that LLGs in the Highlands Provinces do not want presidents to be elected by the people.
