A total of K66, 000 was presented to Mul-Baiyer Lumusa District students attending three tertiary institutions in Madang on Tuesday.
The Mul-Baiyer Lumusa Students Associations of Divine Word University, Madang Teachers College and the Luthern School of Nursing were each given money according to the number of students from the district.
Mul-Baiyer Lumusa Member, Koi Trape’s Executive Officer, Douglas Kilipi presented the cheque on behalf of him.
Mr Kilipi said this year the member paid a total of K950,500 to the 735 Mul-Baiyer Lumusa students from different colleges and universities throughout Papua New Guinea.
“This is the aim of the member and he will continue to do so as long as he is in power,” said Mr Kilipi.
He said for the past years there has been no change.
