Dear Air Niugini CEO Simon Foo,
Why is it that there's two flights out of Tokua Cairns or Cairns Tokua 2X per week?
How many passengers or number of tourists are those flights ferrying to and from between these two destinations? How much is PX making or those flights commercially viable for a struggling state entity like PX? Air you not wasting money in fuel and or other costs?
Or you just maintain that it's commercial viable so you can ferry
shipments from Australia to Kokopo direct for your private business
Kokopo Bungalow Beach Resort thus abusing your position of trust and
directing a company owned by the people of this country to conduct your
private business?
Why is it that you direct Air Niugini to overnight at Tokua when it is not really necessary?
To make money from the PX crew when staying at Kokopo Bungalow Beach Resort? Is there no other way to make money for your private company?
I urge you Mr Foo, you being head of a company owned by the people of this country who is not making money to turn the companies fortunes around.
You people go to the media painting a rosy picture of the company while it's continuously struggling to make money. You bring Pilots to agree to unacceptable terms, reduce/cut local Engineers pay, fill up the place with Asians with questionable Air Craft Engineer certificates and let them live in luxury at the expense of locals and shove down their throats unacceptable terms. What kind of CEO are you?
There are too many cancelled flights now due to pilot shortages and it will continue coz you are not competent enough. Where is you max exodus of pilots who showed interest?
There are far better ways to save costs. First is to cut down on the number of expats, re-route commercially non viable flights like most flights going through Kokopo etc.
Can the government replace this incompetent scumbags like Simon Foo?
