If we take a look at Kenya for example despite the fears the day was passed without to much violence. While the police was the primary institution involved , the military provided crucial support to ensure the success of the exercise. Around the world, your participation in Peace missions and your professionalism during these missions have done a lot to lift Papua New Guinea’s image in the world community. I witnessed your work in Papua New Guinea and on previous and present trips abroad repeatedly.
For your indispensable role in securing democracy ,ensuring peace and building our image abroad,I thank you . Papua New Guinea Thanks you.
Your role in ensuring peace has enabled our country to make significant progress in the 16 years In economy, education , Health and Infrastructure.
I plead with you maintain on neutral grounds for the best interest of the nation , I also ask for you support in protecting national assets and the locals .
I have a dream of redefining your arm of service. Wish The consistent with records of the previous Government . The New Government will Show unwavering commitment to professionalism of the Defense Force. Government Must make the necessary investments in your training , equipment , accommodation and conditions of service. These investments will make you second to none on our continent and help to
promote the image both of institution and our country around the world.
I task the Prime Minister who will unite our country , to redefine The PNGDF for a Better PNG ….
