Hela people are capable of managing province

Ben Herowa, Thomas Komo Hela Province.

HELA sons have left footprints all over Papua New Guinea.
We were the first plantation labourers to plant the first tea, coffee, cocoa and copra currently benefiting Papua New Guinea and the world.
We were used as tools to provide security for wealthy people.
We were used as forklifts along the highlands highway to load and unload cargoes and do “workday” for the afternoon dinner-plate.
We are hated and robbed on the roads while in search of needs and services.
For our cheap services provided to Papua New Guinea, we are naturally rewarded.
Our land now is filled with oil, gas, gold, copper, coffee and timber.
Our children have multiplied and are doing what the rest of PNG and the world can do.
Hela offsprings can manage the affairs of Hela and Papua New Guinea as it has produced the best accountants, pilots, engineers, lawyers, architectures, departmental heads, businessmen and even Government Ministers.
The Tari Hospital CEO (Dr Hamiya Hewali), Private Lawyer & PNG’s Boundaries Commissioner (Ben Peri), PNG Registrar of Companies (Alex Tongayu), Pacific Insurance company owner (Johnson Tia), the Acting Hela Provincial Administrator (Mr William Bando), Governor of Hela (Hon Anderson Agiru), the Finance Minister (Hon. James Marape) and the chairman of PNG Power Ltd and founder of Trans Wonder Land (Larry Andagali) are a few of many of our blessed rewards who can manage Hela.
No extra and external forces are needed to sway Hela’s affairs.
Our land is now blessed with milk and honey to feed the world.
Billion kina loans guaranteed from our resources are drawn to fulfil the commercial obligations of the government.
Job and Education opportunities are created and provided to PNG in the name of Hela.
Hon Prime Minister, your government has declared Hela Province in 2012 and the previous government has signed the Kokopo UBSA in 2008 for our liquefied natural gas.
Since our leaders are very silent, citizens and public servants representing the silent Hela majority publicly petition the following sensitive agendas for further deliberations:
1. Confirm Mr William Bando as the Administrator for Hela Province.
2. Declare the Electoral boundaries for Hela/Jiwaka/Morobe before 2017.
3. Review the LNG Kokopo Agreement as nothing is said for Hela.
4. Arrange LNG benefit plates for legitimate Landowners as State and LNG developers are already swimming in the LNG benefits pool.
