Minister reveals SOE’s using debts to finance operations

 

Shocking revelation on the operations of some state enterprises and it comes from the government.

State enterprise minister Ben Micah said some SOE’s (State Owned Enterprises) have been using debt to finance their many operations instead of creating revenue and consolidation asset base.
The revelation was at the two day International Investment conference PNG advantage 2012 in Port Moresby.
It has attracted over 100 existing and potential investors.
