Enga For Christ


Engans reminded to give thanks to God

The people of Enga have been reminded to give thanks to God as they prepare to celebrate Christmas  Thursday.

Wabag Catholic Bishop, Arnold Orowae in his Christmas message said that Christmas is always a good time to remember that great miracle of the birth of Jesus Christ.

“Jesus lived like us to become a model figure so that we can be able to follow him by telling his truth, walking his ways, and living his life,” said Orowae.

Orowae also stressed on the importance of marriage and family as its pastoral priority to fell in line with the National Pastoral Plan of the Catholic Church of Papua New Guinea.

He said while most of the provinces parishes are in the rural areas, people appreciated the work of the Catholic churches in spreading the good news especially during the festive season.

“May this Christmas bring special blessings to your families. I pray that God bless you all,”
