NZ military to help with PNG's elections

The New Zealand military is to be sent to Papua New Guinea to assist with elections there next month.
Foreign Minister Murray McCully says following a request from the PNG Government, New Zealand is to provide logistical support and observers.
Three RNZAF helicopters and 40 defence personnel will help transport electoral officials and ballot boxes to remote areas.
New Zealand Forces will as a part of a combined task force with Australian military personnel.
