PNG ANTI-CORRUPTION MOVEMENT FOR CHANGE

PNGACMC is a non-profit, voluntary organisation committed to providing a platform on which all like-minded people who have been and are praying for a better PNG to rise up and get crazy for the change they desire and the future they want to shape for the children.
PNGACMC is dedicated to change PNG by holding the government with leaders accountable for any decision or action now or in the past, which the people deem is or was not in the best interest of the country through exposing, awareness, networking, strategic alliances, lobbying, demonstrations, and petitions.
PNGACMC is not just only an anti-corruption movement. It is a movement with vision to shape the future by finding a new way forward to create a New Modern Independent State of Papua New Guinea to give our people a new hope, a new dream, a new destiny and a new reason to live and to believe that our country will never be the same again. We can die peacefully knowing that we have lived our dream.
First of all, on behalf of my dear committee members, I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of us for believing in this noble cause of the fight against corruption. Despite our differences, the conviction in us and our firm believe and our shared commitment to make this country fair, better and just for everyone has bonded us together as one big family.
I believe with this great news, we are now determined to take the fight against corruption to the next level never seen in the history of this country before.
I would further on behalf of the committee like to extend our sincere appreciation to those who have shown keen interest in the positions within the Interim Committee of PNGACMC. The committee has been selected and the association is already registered. These positions are on volunteering basis and we have only selected those who are currently working and living in Port Moresby. Some of the positions are still vacant including the deputies. We will call for expression of interest in due course for those positions still vacant.
It is in the spirit of this movement that your interest shown to be part of this movement is what is driving this movement further into liberating this country from the evils of corruption, deception and lies.
We have plans to establish Chapters in all Provincial centers and educational institutions around the country once the Port Moresby based Chapter which we are currently working on is in full operational. We will announce the appropriate time to establish the Chapters of PNGACMC in other centers around the country. In the meantime, keep the fire burning at wherever you are as this movement will certainly finds you and together we can drive this movement further to reach the rural masses of the population.
We are encouraging the like minded in other centers to establish connections and start interacting with each other in preparation for the movement.
To promote the movement online, PNG Anti Corruption Movement (PNGACM) is now the official Facebook page for PNGACMC. The security features and settings of this group will be changed and restricted to filter and screen every member and posts. The Admins of this group will also be changed to include those who will support and drive this movement forward to achieve the purpose and objectives of PNGACMC.
We are now in preparation for the official launching of PNGACMC. The date, venue, and time will be announced when all preparations are completed and ready. We will update the progress of the launching on this page (PNGACM) regularly as and when required.
Membership is open to all members of the public and groups. There are different categories of membership one can subscribe to as individuals or groups. Membership forms will be made available to the public when it is ready and official.
While in preparation for the launching, we also plan to have meetings and interactions with the like-minded especially those in Port Moresby. We are appealing for sponsors to sponsor us to organize barbeques and other social gatherings to bring the like-minded together to grow and expand the network.
The greatest mistake we can make is to deceive the same people whom have been deceived for the last 38 years. We can’t continue to inherit the same lies and repeat them to every innocent generation. Every generation has had their share of the same lies.
The challenges are great yet we are not afraid to walk the talk because of our shared commitment, conviction and desire for change that we all deserve in a country rich with natural resources such as ours.
We need the support of every Papua New Guinean to make this dream of a life time into real. We are asking every Papua New Guinean to trust us and this movement once. There will never be another time to ask for your trust twice. Open your heart and support this movement in whatever capacity and means you can. Together we can make a difference and be proud of our shared achievement.
