Oro Against Removal of Reserve Police

The Oro Provincial Government is against the removal of reserve police in the country. In fact, it wants to retain its forty strong reserve force.
Governor Garry Juffa says this is part of this law and order improvement package.
 
The Police Commissioner Tom Kulunga said the reserve or auxiliary police will be done away with due to unavailability of funds.
However, Commissioner Kulunga said provincial governments able to fund this unit in their respective provinces can go ahead. 
 
The Oro Provincial Government is doing just that. Governor Juffa said his provincial government is funding forty reserve personnel in this year’s budget.
The personnel will be tasked to assist the local police curb the ever increasing crime rate in the province.
Mr. Juffa said attention will also be put to rehabilitate prisoners. However, he said this excludes murderers and rapists. The governor will make a similar visit to the prisoners in the Bomana jail in the Nation’s Capital.

Conclusion:

Juffa has Point
