Senior public servants must come out, clear names

Teke Paikrio
THE media outburst by two senior public servants of Chimbu on January 8 to come out publicly and deny allegations made against them is not only laughable, but is way off line and needs clarification.
One wonders how these two so-called public servants, after being initially interviewed by police dart off to their hide out with no trace and are in hiding, thats a fact they cannot be denied

The investigations which culminated in them being wanted by police for questioning was in fact instigated by the people of Gumine, the very people that these two have been entrusted to serve and be accountable to.
To say that the provincial police commander is defaming their character by falsely accusing them sounds funny, because nothing will pop up and come out of the blues to warrant police investigations.
A lot of peoples money have been allegedly misused and this warrants some sort of scrutiny.

They are custodians to the district funds therefore, are answerable as to how these monies have been used apart from the intended purpose. Whats there to hide?
Just come out and clear your names against these allegations.
