OPPOSITION SHADOW MINISTER FOR EDUCATION EMPHASIZES PRESERVATION OF CULTURE FUNDAMENTAL TO SCHOOLS IN PAPUA NEW GUINEA
Opposition Shadow Minister for Education and MP for Goilala Hon. Daniel Mona MP accepted invitation to witness Tokarara Primary School’s Cultural Day, emphasizing the need for preserve our culture in ALL schools throughout Pap
ua New Guinea, a fundamental principle in any students’ education.
The Opposition Shadow Minister for Education reminded all teachers to promote cultural events by incorporating it into the school curriculum.
The MP vowed to pay ALL Goilala students’ school fees from primary schools up to University.
The Goilala MP presented K1000 to the cultural event organisers to help with the ongoing costs of staging such a big event for the school.
He challenged other MPs of this country to follow suit of the initiative Governor for Enga, Hon. Peter Ipatas undertook in paying for all Engan students’ school fees in institutions throughout the country, setting legacy for education in this country.
